Robert Thompson welcomes you to his gourmet bolt hole The Hambrough. Perched high above the crystal blue sea Robert and his team have an enviable position.

The quaint town of Ventnor makes an ideal setting for The Hambrough, stunning views out to sea, an award winning beach, fantastic walks and it's own micro-climate are just a few of its qualities.

Having taken over in August 2008 Robert and his partner Diana have been working hard to establish their vision on this amazing Island. After only five months the Hambrough was awarded with 1 Michelin Star followed by 3AA Rosettes and 7/10 in the Good Food Guide. With seven spacious rooms and being only two and a half hours from London it's the ideal place to dine, stay and explore.
