Godshill Park Farm offers self catering accommodation on a tranquil organic farm, situated near the picturesque village of Godshill. Wonderful scenery with beautiful walks on the doorstep. Coarse angling available in private lake.
LLAMA TREKKING
We currently have 4 llamas which can be taken out in pairs for trekking on our 270 acres of undulating farmland which is studded with woodland and ponds. The trek will all be off road – so no traffic. The farm is situated in an Area of Outstanding Beauty and includes downland from which there are wonderful far reaching views of the island.
Routes can be tailored to suit different fitness and ability levels. Treks can be at whatever time of day is convenient for you and refreshments can be provided as wished.
Benefits to be gained from walking with these beautiful animals include are fresh air, exercise and distraction from the stresses of everyday life. The tranquillity, natural environment and engagement with an enigmatic animal bring therapeutic benefits and enhance wellbeing.
Llamas are very inquisitive and love to leave their field to go for a walk.
Future plans include more llamas so more than 2 can be taken out in a group and packs so that refreshments can be carried. This year all refreshments are provided back at the farmhouse.
Prices start at £50 for a 2 hour trek with 2 llamas, drink and piece of cake. All children must be accompanied by an adult, sorry but this is not suitable for children under 8 years old.
