Carriers Stable is a converted early Victorian stable catering for two adults, graded as a 4 Star Gold, Walkers and Cyclists welcome, situated in the village of Brighstone at the foot of the downs, Carrier Stable is within a mile by car from the nearest beach. There are a large number of footpaths all around Brighstone and the round island cycle path runs through the village.
Carriers Stable is a detached cottage with it's own Y-shaped drive, a patio with 2 bench seats and a picnic table. For cyclists there is a secure bike rack with a chain, lock and cover. Inside there is an electric hob and fan oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, Free Wi-Fi, televisions with free-view satellite receivers, DVD players, video player, clock radios, and CD/cassette/radio player. Electricity and linen/towels (not for beach use) are all included. We try to provide facilities/items you may have at home to reduce the number of items you have to bring with you. Brighstone has recently been voted Best Kept Village. In the centre of Brighstone is a newly upgraded pub, a restaurant/bar, village food store with off licence, newsagent also selling groceries, a Post Office, National Trust shop, museum, hairdressers, 900 year old C of E Church, doctors surgery, Methodist church and small Library.
